Joe Simpson has become his daughters paparazzi. Radar online reports that the singers’ dad and manager has become a part-time paparazzi in order to control how his daughters are portrayed in the media. I actually think it is a smart move!

According to Radar, Simpson has struck up a deal with WireImage, the wire service that dominates red-carpet and high-profile events. On several occasions, Simpson has been seen interferering with other photographers for shots of his own daughters, then only his images were approved for distribution through WireImage. He has even provided the agency with  risky photographs of his daughters on private family getaways.
Obviously the real paparazzies aren’t happy. One  spoke out saying “I thought it was really odd that he was always in my way, since I was the one who was paid to be there shooting,”  And when the freelance snapper finally did get some shots, Joe’s were the only ones WireImage posted.
