Usher Ties The Knot
Usher has married Tameka Foster one week after canceling their extravagant wedding,
The newlyweds who are expecting their first child, were married in the Atlanta office of Usher’s attorney. No where near the shindig they had previously planned though.
It was all over the news last week how Usher and his much older love were supposed to have been married at the New York home of music tycoon LA Reid. Celebrity chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten had been hired to cater, and singer Robin Thicke (as well as some others) were lined up to perform. The wedding was to have been so extravagant, it was reported that $10,000 was spent on just the invitations alone! Can you imagine? Going through all that and then suddenly with no explanation…. canceling it all?
No one is really sure why the original wedding plans were called off at the last moment. One reason as to the why of it was Usher’s mama, now his ex-manager, Jonetta Patton, and her not feeling the love for her boy’s 37-year-old cougar. Meow!
Another reason given was that his lady love also reportedly has a shady past which Usher was unaware of until right before last week’s planned wedding. Then there was a self-described “pregnancy scare” that went on last Saturday.
Whatever it was, they must have worked it through since they are now are on their way to wedded bliss. I wonder how long they will live happily ever after?
