Not A Big Tipper?!
DONALD Trump might be big tipper, but he didn’t tip a Santa Monica server $10,000 this past Monday. The Donald himself insists he wasn’t even in California.
Derober.com published an alleged copy of a MasterCard receipt showing that Trump tipped $10,000 on an $82.27 bill after dining at the Buffalo Club, but The Donald told Page Six it was a sham. “This was done by the stupid restaurant to get publicity,” he said. “. . . It’s not my signature.”
Blogger “Dee Rober” said his site is strictly a “satirical celebrity gossip blog.” It has a feature called “Celebrity Gratuity,” in which readers are asked to share “celeb tipping stories — good and bad.”
When contacted Thursday by FOXNews.com, Dee Rober said in an e-mail, “We interviewed the waiter who received the $10,000 tip — h [sic] didn’t have a lot to say, kinda shy.” The blogger also gave a link to a YouTube video which allegedly features the waiter.
Hmm kinda shy… more like, embarrassed at being caught lying.
