Madonna Earns a Spot in RRHall of Fame
Madonna was announced as a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee today.
No surprise there since Madonna is one of the most influential pioneers for women in music, videos, and fashion - ever!
The other artists who were selected for induction at the annual ceremony which takes place on March 10th in New York City were:
John Mellencamp, The Ventures, Leonard Cohen and The Dave Clark Five.
To be eligible for induction, artists must have a first single or album at least 25 years before being nominated
I remember Sir Bob Geldof during Live 8 calling her “The Queen Bee of rock ‘n roll”
