Amy Won’t Be At The Grammys
Amy Winehouse was rejected a visa, and then granted a visa all within the same week. It sure is nice to be a celebrity ain’t it? Even though she finally did get the Visa she won’t be flying in for the award show on Sunday night. Her publisct released the following statement:

“Unfortunately, due to the logistics involved and timing complications, Amy will not be traveling to the U.S. to perform at the Grammys in person.
Amy would like to thank all of those people, in particular the staff involved at the U.S. Embassy in London, who have all worked so hard to expedite her application. She is looking forward to being a part of the 50th Annual Grammy Awards with her Sunday night performance and to going back to the U.S. soon.”
I think it was really wise of Ms. Winehouse not to attend considering her current condition. I am glad to see she is making some responsible decisions. She will be performing via satellite instead, so all is not at a loss!
