Michael Jackson In Sin City

The Wall Street Journal ran an article on June 13th, by Ethan Smith, with the headline: ‘‘Michael Jackson: The Next Elvis?’’ Mr.Smith reported that investors were hoping to lure Wacko Jacko back to the stage.

The private equity group Colony Capital may spearhead his residency as an option to pay back the foreclosure on his California Neverland Ranch. Colony picked up the Neverland mortgage for $23 million.

The article quoted Colony Capital CEO Tom Barrack as saying, “we’ve been having discussions with Mr. Jackson about a recapitalization and refinancing of Neverland in addition to various other business opportunities and mutual interests.”

With Star Trek: The Experience leaving the Las Vegas Hilton (which Colony Capital owns), that could be a convenient venue for Jackson!

According to an article in the Chicago Sun Times Michael is now living in Pahrump, ‘‘holed up’’ in a ‘‘rural Nevada compound.’’

Time will tell! If he does make his comeback, I’ll be getting tickets for sure!
