Johnny Jackson 2Pac’s Producer Kills Self In Jail
A DUI arrest may have been the reason behind multi-platinum songwriter and Hip Hop music producer Johnny Jackson’s, (aka Johnny J) apparent suicide in an LA County jail on Oct. 3rd.
According to several news reports, Jackson, allegedly jumped from a tier in the prison, although the official cause of his death has not been determined.
He is famous for such albums as Tupac Shakur’s “All Eyez on Me” which contained the hit single How Do U Want It as well as Above The Rim soundtrack, Thug Life album, and Me Against The World. Johnny J. produced or scored music for movies like Blood Diamond, The Fan and The Big Hit.
Johnny J. also worked with a number of artists, some of whom include Tatyana Ali and The Outlawz to Lil’ Eazy E’s group The Kings of L.A.
