Britney Is Now Under Permanent Conservatorship

Attorneys in Britney’s conservatorship case have just asked the court commissioner to make her conservatorship permanent. The judge agreed and will grant the request.

The conservatorship was scheduled to end on December 31 but an extension to make it permanent reassures the family law commissioner that the status quo remains which would allow the commish to grant more child access. If and when Britney is well enough to handle her affairs on her own, it can be lifted.

The conservators will now also be responsible for handling her business affairs and career opportunities which is a good thing since she was erratically spending long before her breakdown.

Under the permanent conservatorship a team of medical professionals will continue to oversee Britney’s career to make sure that she does not compromise her mental health. She is Bi-Polar and needs to take her meds and be monitored closely, otherwise she will relapse.

The commish said: “The conservatorship is necessary and appropriate for the complexity of financial and business entities and her being susceptible to undue influence.”

After all, it’s only been around 7 months since her breakdown. Her mental health is obviously still fragile, and while it must be very difficult for her to have agreed to being taken care of in this way, she is doing what she has to do in order to try to regain 50/50 custody of her boys someday.
