Mia’s Meddlings

So I went to the Madonna’s Concert in Vancouver last night, hoping to be wowed by Ms. Vadge herself. On the ticket it said it was a 7:30 start, so I raced to my seat and sat down to wait. After about 2 hours I was starting to get really agitated. First of all, if she was going to be so late, why not have an opening band? I guess no one is good enough to open for Madonna!

So the lights finally turned off around 9:30 and the crowd began to scream.. I was surprised that everyone forgave her so fast, for being that late. We rag on Amy Winehouse for being late, but when Madonna does it, it is ok?!

Her concert was pretty good, although I couldn’t help but feel that her dancing moves were more like work out moves. I could see the definition in her arms and legs as she strutted around the stage, (and I was in row like 30!).

She played a lot of good songs, but she left out Material Girl (my favorite!). Some of her costumes were also a bit scary… definitely not a fashion show like other concerts I have seen.

Here is definitely the best dress (wo)man at the concert!
