Hudson Family’s Public Memorial
This Sunday, November 2nd, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., a public memorial for Jennifer Hudson’s slain family members will take place at Chicago’s Pleasant Gift Missionary Baptist Church.
A rep for the family released the following statement:
“The Hudson family welcomes anyone who wishes to attend and pay their respects to these three beloved members of the Chicago community.”
Jennifer and her sister, Julia, will not be at the public memorial.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for any contributions to be sent to the newly formed Hudson-King Domestic Violence Protection Fund, care of Seaway Bank and Trust, P.O. Box 19522, Chicago, IL, 60619.
The murder weapon has been found, and hopefully those responsible will be brought to justice soon so that the family can have some peace.
