Hits Daily Double is predicting that Beyonce’s new double CD, I Am…Sasha Fierce, will become the #1 album by next week. The album is expected to sell between 500 and 550 thousand. I’ll wait and see as this is only a prediction. She may sell more. They made a similar prediction for Alicia Keys with As I AM and she sold about 700k first week!

Country cutie Taylor Swift’s sales for her debut sold 592 thousand copies. Taylor Swift’s “White Horse,” a track from her new album Fearless that was featured on the season premiere of Grey’s Anatomy has done extremely well for her. The soulful song will debut at #13 on Billboard’s all-genre Hot 100 singles chart this week, which will give her the 6th Top 20 debut of 2008 breaking the all-time Billlboard record for the number of Top 20 debuts in a calendar year by any artist!

Taylor’s other five songs that made the Top 20 include “Change”, “Fearless”, “You’re Not Sorry”, “You Belong With Me” and “Love Story”.

The previous record winner with five Top 20 debuts this year was held by her ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas and his brothers.

Police have arrested a person of interest and he is in custody being questioned. His name is William Balfour. The missing boy Julian King (Jennifer Hudson’s nephew) has still not been found and the FBI is now assisting in the search for him. Balfour was married to Jennifer Hudson’s sister Julia for several years, but they were separated. Public records show that Balfour had listed as one of his residences the home where the shootings occurred.

Jennifer Hudson’s personal publicist, Lisa Kasteler, said the family has asked for privacy.

Records from the Illinois Department of Corrections show Balfour who is 27 had been on parole after having spent nearly seven years in jail for attempted murder, vehicular hijacking and possessing a stolen vehicle.

The timing of this tragedy comes when Jennifer’s career has been soaring and she will no longer be able to share it with her beloved mom and brother. Her song “Spotlight” is No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop charts and she also just launched her self-tiled debut album which is also topping the charts. She had a role in this year’s hit “Sex and the City” movie and is also starring in the “The Secret Life of Bees.”

She won an Academy Award for best supporting actress in 2007 for her role in “Dreamgirls.” In an interview last year with Vogue, Hudson gave her mom all the credit for insisting she try out and audition for “American Idol,” which launched her career.

Here’s the latest for those who don’t know what’s sort of been going on between Ne-Yo and Yung Berg.

A few days back Ne-Yo did a guest appearance on the L.A. morning radio show “Big Boy’s Neighborhood” and Big asked him what person he would want to slap with three fingers. Ne-Yo’s response was Yung Berg. The reason he chose Yung was ” for not being creative and for biting T-Pain and Lil Wayne by using the Auto-Tune effect on his song The Business.”

Berg of course had to respond defending himself with a video blog, in which he questioned Ne-Yo’s sexuality and even referred to Ne-Yo as “Miss Independent.” Berg also wrote that Ne-Yo’s girlfriend wanted him.

Well …. Ne-Yo hadn’t read the blog but when he was asked about it last Wednesday night at Gotham Hall in Manhattan — before his big Hennessy Artistry party and concert, he had a laugh about it all. He said:

“Response for what? That ain’t my lane, dude. I don’t beef. I don’t do that. That ain’t my thing. I don’t do dis records. I don’t do beef. I don’t do any of that blogs talking about cats. I don’t do that. That ain’t my thing. I’m a grown man. I got money to make.

I can’t work with people that’s doing this for the fame element or the money element, I think that’s what’s destroying music. You got cats out here that are copycatting and doing stuff that’s popular. You know, doing it because that’s what’s in right now, whatever the case may be — but basically what you’re doing is killing music. You’re killing the creative element of what this is, which was the basis of this whole thing, which is self-expression.”

He will be writing for Usher’s new album, and Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson. So yeah… he’s got better things to do!

Flash back to the fall of 2005, Eminem the rap superstar was having issues, checking into rehab, canceling concerts, thinking about ending his recording career. The reclusive musician fell off the radar.

Fast forward to now. Eminem, is now healthy and ready to make his comeback with his much-talked about memoir and with his new album “Relapse,” his first in more than four years. No release date is set — the album may be out by year’s end — but his single, “I’m Having a Relapse,” has already hit the Internet. There is talk about a 2009 tour.

I’ve always had issues with my temper.

When I look back at myself during those years when everything was blowing up, I think maybe at first I was a little, you know, too aggressive and loud. It was like I had this voice and I had to be heard. ”Don’t f— with me,” to the point where people must have been wondering, Why is this dude so angry? Is he on crack? Is he on crystal meth? I go back and see old interviews and even now I wonder, Why was I so hyper?

I went through a phase back then when I was shooting pistols in the air behind the studio and, you know, pulling guns out, pointing a pistol in somebody’s face, not even realizing that I could’ve gone to jail for that s—.

Back then I was living on a main road, Hayes Street, and random people used to come and knock on my door all the time. The first album had gone four times platinum. I finally had some money. I remember thinking, I have a house, I can park in back. It was the first time in my life I’d had a real home that I could call my own and nobody was going to be able to throw me out. Directly across the street there was a trailer park. Wouldn’t you know it? Sometimes kids would sit and wait for me to come out.

Other times they didn’t even bother to wait. They would just come and bang on the door. The doorbell kept ringing. I was starting to lose it. As soon as I would open the front door the camera flashes would go off. They’d start clapping. I was losing my mind. I got up in one kid’s face with a pistol. Unloaded, but still. Was that the right thing to do?

Hell, no. But my temper was out of control. Thank God I was in enough control to not do something tragic. I had to move out of there before I wound up hurting somebody.

My mood can change quickly. It’s always been that way. When I was drinking, I could be in a good mood — just loving everybody and feeling like everything was great — then somebody would say the wrong s— to me, and before you knew it there was nothing my bodyguards could do to stop me from reacting and at least punching, spitting, or kicking a few times before they could get to me. It would be the simplest s— that would set me off, like somebody looking at me hard. And I could not stop until I felt like I’d done something to make that person accountable, to make that person learn his lesson. Afterward, I would be full of apologies, just saying ”I’m sorry” over and over. I’d feel like such an idiot for acting like that. Like, Why can’t I control this?

You all saw the Triumph thing go down at the MTV Video Music Awards, right? That’s a pretty perfect example. I mean, there I am, sitting in my seat, and they announce that I’m up for an award, presented by Christina Aguilera. I had said some things about her in the past, Moby had said some things about me, and I had said some things back about him. So I’m sitting there next to Proof, and they bring in Moby and sit him like two rows directly behind us. So now I’m like, Okay, what’s going on? What are they trying to do? I’ve got Moby behind me, and Christina up onstage, and then this dog puppet gets up in my face. I’d been so busy touring and doing my own s— that I hadn’t had time to watch TV, so I had no idea what that dog was. All I saw was Moby and Christina and this dude who’s sticking his hand in my face, trying to be funny. I didn’t even see the puppet, you know? My natural reaction was, ”Get the f— out of my face. Get your f—ing hand out of my face.” And that’s when I kind of lost it and a half. I should have kept my composure, but instead I stuck my fingers basically on Moby’s nose. Right in his face, like, ”F— you.”

When they told me I won the award, I went up there and gave Christina a hug, because there wasn’t a real beef with her. I was just dissing her to separate myself ’cause I didn’t want to be classified as a pop artist. When I hugged her, I thought I was being as mature as I could be. But when I got behind closed doors in the green room, I threw a fit. There was a cooler with drinks in it, and I asked if anybody wanted to grab a water or something. Nobody did. So I picked up the cooler and threw it against the wall and kind of f—ed up the whole room, basically.

Beyonce is looking fine in her latest new music video called “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)”

It’s in black and white and she has some sort of robotic cyborg arm. She’s so stylish.

Kanye’s new single “Love Lockdown” has been sitting sweet on the charts, (it’s been downloaded over 200,000 times since its initial release) so he has now decided to announce on his personal blog that he will be pushing up the date for his next album 808’s & Heartbreak.

Kanye writes:

“I CHANGED MY ALBUM (release) TO NOVEMBER SOMETHING CAUSE I FINISHED THE ALBUM AND I FELT LIKE IT.. I WANT YALL TO HEAR IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.”

He debuted his first single during the MTV Video Music Award earlier this month, and was initially set to release the album in December. Had he dropped the album as originally planned, it would have possibly set up a showdown with 50 Cent or Jay Z. Guess he didn’t want that!

Along with wrapping up his album, he is also working on tracks for Jay-Z’s next studio album, “The Blueprint 3.”

Jessica’s Country Album Debuts At No.1 On Country Chart

Jessica’s album Do You Know has hit No.1 on the country music charts as well as debuted at No.3 on the Billborad Top 100. Death Magnetic by Metallica was No.1

Jessica’s album sold 65,000 copies its first week, compared with her last album which sold 101,000 its first week. Metallica’s Death Magnetic sold 490,000 copies.

I do believe that there were no other new country albums debuted the same week so… it’s not really that much of a big deal.

Here’s a little comparison:
