The Next American Idol Is David…

Congrats David Cook! I have to say that American Idol really put on a show. There was dancing (from So You Think You Can Dance, I am pretty sure I saw Hawk) singing from quite a few stars… such as One Republic, Donna Summers, George Michael and ZZtop…) and of course the Top 12 Idols. They really dragged it on, whored it out with endorsements for the Love Guru, and Ford…. I have to say I was pretty impressed with the show they had a lot of good performances.

I was really moved that David Cook cried, I thought he was a bit of a cocky b*stard at times, but it was very sweet to see him all caught up in the moment!

Apparently Britney watched the American Idol gives back and asked her dad if she could donate 25k to the cause. Isn’t that just so sweet!

The source told Life & Style, “She did it all on her own. She watched the show and cried for like two hours over the children in Africa with malaria. She didn’t know much about the disease, so she Googled it. She was horrified to realize kids were dying from mosquito bites. So she went online and donated after getting [her dad] Jamie’s permission. She used her Amex.”

I love that she had to ask to donate to charity! Either way I am proud of Brit.

David Archuleta Chokes!

David Archuleta who is definitely my favorite idol contestant totally choked, he even forgot the lyrics! Spywitness’ say that David’ s dad may be to blame for the terrible performance. The spy said that David’s dad was yelling at him about his terrible practice run through and even made sweet little David cry. Not sure how reliable the source is but check out David’ s performance because he is definitely not on his game! Doesn’t really matter because he is totally going to win the competition.

Robbie on American Idol is getting a lot of criticism about his rocker image. From his hair which is speculated to be a wig, to his rock style. Here is his old band Boyz N Girlz United and I have to say it is very S Club 7ish with the introductions at the beginning to that 90’s pop sound. I have to admit the song is somewhat catchy. Robbie cut your hair and go pop, maybe you will win the competition!

LOL! I can’t believe Simon Cowell wasn’t invited to the Oscars. Even if he has nothing to do with movies, you think he would have at least nose bleed seats. I love that Simon is so blatantly honest. Although I doubt I would want him as one of my friends because he would probably make me cry!

She has sold an amazing 527,000 copies during its debut week.

Her 2005’s Some Hearts CD, debuted with 315,000 copies in its first week. She is also the top of the chart for best sales week for a female country artist.

Underwood’s debut of 530,000 copies is DOUBLE what Kelly Clarkson’s latest CD, My December, sold in its first week.

Photoshopping is what celebrities do. I guess that is why so many girls have self esteem issues because there is no way to look as they do on the cover of magazines.

Here is Kelly looking super hot and we know she hasn’t been looking so hot lately. She never looks like that when we see her on the street!

Poor Kelly she needs to have a lesson on how to deal with Paparazzi photos!

Kelly Clarkson Cancels Tour

Kelly Clarkson seems to be in a lot of trouble these days. Arguments with her label, firing of her manager andnow canceling of her summer tour!

Here is what Kelly had to say to her fans about the situation. I feel bad for Kelly, she shouldn’t have tried to wite an album so soon she should have just does what she did best and that was SING songs. Not write them

“I can’t tell you how much I’ve been looking forward to getting out there to perform for y’all. In the craziness of the music business, performing is what I look forward to doing the most, so it really is disappointing for me to have to tell you that I won’t be coming out to tour this summer. The fact is that touring is just too much too soon.

But I promise you that we’re going to get back out there as soon as is humanly possible to give you a show that will be even better.

Kelly Says YOUR FIRED

Kelly Clarkson has just fired her manager! Her new album that she wrote all by herself is out in two weeks and I guess the pressure is on. There seems to be a lot of negative press about “My Decemeber” her single Never Again is not doing so hot on the radio airwaves, and her summer tour is not selling out! Kelly better start heading to the bars and getting Sh*t faced drunk or her career is over! (Kidding) I think maybe Kelly should have waited to write her own album and just sung for now. she should have probably done the mainstream thing, got Timbaland to produce, had featuring artists.. etc

At least she lost most of the weight she gained!

Kelly Was NOT Dropped

“Despite rumor-mongering from the U.K. Daily Star and other online sources, there is no dispute between Kelly Clarkson and the RCA Music Group. These rumors began after the SBMG International meetings in Las Vegas a couple of weeks back and were based on an inaccurate report about Clive Davis’ presentation of Kelly’s new LP at the confab. Sources who were there insist the chatter is not true.

In fact, Davis specifically stated that Kelly is “one of the top four artists at Sony BMG” and wanted to ensure that she is treated as such. There are absolutely no plans to scrap the LP.”

I saw this so I thought I would post the correction.. supposedly the label was going to drop Kelly’s new record but now they are saying that Kelly is one of their top artists! Good thing, because I am sure a lot of fans were looking forward to Kelly’s new album. She really seems to be the only true American Idol. The rest all the winners all seem to fade away.
